PROBOLINGGO, GUBUKINSPIRASI.com – A distinguished Professor from California University graced Aula I Pesantren Nurul Jadid in an inspiring Guest Lecture.
The event took place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, and was organized with great enthusiasm by Nurul Jadid University (Unuja) as part of the preparations for the upcoming Unuja Probolinggo Graduation Ceremony scheduled for October 29, 2023.
Under the theme “Building Excellent Human Resources to Face the Disruptive Workforce Era,” the Unuja Probolinggo Guest Lecture featured a highly experienced speaker, Prof. Dr. Ir. IP Sudiarsa Boy Arsa, ST., LLB., MT., M.Arch,. IAI., Ph.D.
Affectionately known as Professor Sudiarso, he is a Senior Partner and Professor at Universal Institute of Professional Management in California and Singapore. Professor Sudiarso shared valuable insights with the distinguished guests and students in attendance.
During a psychological test, he asked the guests to draw a picture of their vision for future success. The results showed that, on average, the guests depicted an inclination towards working in the industrial sector. This was an intriguing indication, suggesting that students at Nurul Jadid University have a strong interest in the industrial field.
The event witnessed an extraordinary level of enthusiasm from the participants, with the organizing committee even having to provide additional seating to accommodate everyone. The guest lecture became highly interactive as Professor Sudiarso actively engaged with the guests in a direct dialogue.
During this interactive session, Professor Sudiarso conveyed an essential message, “Human beings must be as adaptable as water. If not, those who cannot innovate will be left behind. Do you know why the dinosaurs, the most potent creatures of their time, went extinct? It happened because the dinosaurs could not adapt to their environment.”
The guest lecture not only provided valuable insights and motivation to Nurul Jadid University students but also ignited their passion for pursuing careers in the industrial sector. Professor Sudiarso successfully instilled a strong sense of inspiration for achieving future success.
It is hoped that the inspiration gained from the Guest Lecture will assist students in navigating the challenges of the job market in this era of disruption. They are ready to adapt and actively contribute to the progress of the industrial sector. (*)
